These terms govern your use of rotecompliance.com and the compliance skills published under it, operated by Dang's Solutions LLC.

What is offered here

This site publishes a method: the compliance skills, the guides and the research method. All of it is free to read and free to run. There is no account, no subscription and no product for sale on this domain.

The Rote platform is not open for signups. It runs as the instrument behind Dang's Solutions LLC, Dan Gonzalez's practice. Where an engagement includes access to it, that access is governed by the agreement covering the engagement rather than by these terms.

The skills

The compliance skills are open source under the Apache 2.0 license and available at github.com/Rote-Compliance. The license text governs your use of them, including the warranty disclaimer it carries. You may read them, change them, and run them commercially, on the terms that license sets.

Not legal advice

The skills and the guides are analytical tools and written explanation. They are not legal advice, and reading them does not create an attorney-client relationship. A skill reports what it found and the provision it read against; whether a gap matters to your organization, and what to do about it, is a judgment for a qualified professional who knows your facts.

Acceptable use

Do not use this site or the skills to process data you are not authorized to handle, and do not present a skill's output as a professional opinion it is not. Run the skills against documents you have the right to read.

Limitation of liability

This site and the skills are provided as-is. Dang's Solutions LLC is not liable for compliance decisions made on the basis of their output. Treat a finding as one input into your compliance process rather than as a conclusion.
